Scots Gaelic for: ‘thumb’.

This one-of-a-kind plate of contemplative blue glazes and textured crank clay was unearthed in 2017. I used a mould to create an organic effect then glazed at high temperature. The piece is designed with rough texture and a heavy weight to help us see friction and conflict as beautiful opportunities for growth.

She was made in Aylesbury Art Centre, England whilst learning about manufacturing and supply chains in a local food factory! A peculiar yet enlivening chapter of existence!
