Scots Gaelic for: ‘thumb’.
Another member of the thumb series unearthed in 2016 in Aylesbury Art Centre, England. As usual, I worked with small batch glazes and British clay. The organic nature of the piece was borne out of a mould and working with my thumbs. This was also my first time playing with wax resist. There is one other matching plate in the ‘embracing vulnerability’ portfolio of works.
Approximate measurements: 0.63lb // W:18cm // H:2cm
Like all the mysterious fauna and flora we co-inhabit with, my ceramics are unique - what you own will not be replicated. Please do take care!
