Scots Gaelic for: ‘naked’.
This lovely jug was unearthed in 2022 using small batch glazes and local Kenyan clay. I threw her using a simple modern wheel in Nairobi, Kenya in a wonderful little studio called Tope on the outskirts of the city. A place of refuge from the bustle during a personal journey of learning to befriend and appreciate stillness.
This piece is an ode to nudity.
