gàirdeachas IV

£20.00

Scots Gaelic for: ‘joy’.

These pieces were unearthed in 2022 using small batch glazes and local Kenyan clay. I threw them using a simple modern wheel in Nairobi, Kenya in a wonderful little studio called Tope on the outskirts of the city. A place of refuge from the bustle during a personal journey of learning to befriend and appreciate stillness.

Like all the best things in life, these wee nuggets were a challenge to make and required enormous patience which ultimately resulted in enormous joy and pride!

Approximate measurements:  0.17lb // W: 6cm // H:3cm

This link is to purchase the individual piece but you may also purchase as a series (there are three other minatures) with a discount applied - please reach out to me if this is your desire!

Like all the mysterious fauna and flora we co-inhabit with, my ceramics are unique - what you own will not be replicated. Please do take care!
