‘beachdachadh’ was unearthed in 2021 using small batch glazes and local Kenyan clay. I threw her using a simple modern wheel in Nairobi, Kenya in a wonderful little studio called Tope on the outskirts of the city. A place of refuge from the bustle during a personal journey of learning to befriend and appreciate stillness.
The thin spout is intended to gently force the emptying of the mind. To clear space for a newness to take root.
